Emily Kathleen Anne Mortimer is the child of famous writers as well as barristers Sir John Mortimer (born in Hammersmith) and Penelope Gollop. She was born on December 1 2001. Emily has many of siblings. She has a half-brother, Jeremy, and the half-sister Sally, both from the marriage of her father's former wife to author Penelope Fletcher.
