Megan Gale
Gale was only 18 when she was 18 when she won a modeling contest at the age of 18 in Perth. After many years of modeling, Gale rose to fame when she was commissioned in 1999 to be featured in a number of adverts for an Italian telecom company called Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) which she starred in advertisement of the company up to 2006.She was also retained as a model by the Australian Tourist Commission in 2003 as their face for Australia and Italy'. Gale's covers include Australian Marie Claire, Grazia and Gioia. Italian and Australian GQ as well as Maxim. Australian InStyle. Gale also appears in the editorials of Australian Cosmopolitan, Vogue Italia and Australian Cosmopolitan. Gale has been a model for Italian designers, including Gianfranco Fere, Genny and Gai Mattiolo and also at the shows of Mariella Burani, Angelo Marani, and Milan Fashion Week. Gale is a fan of numerous Australian designers such as Colette dinnigan, Kirrily Johnsonston Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. She was in 2006 when she was the fashion commentator for the Australian awards on television, known as the Logies. Gale made it clear in the month of January that she was stepping down from runway modelling after 15 prosperous years. A few weeks later when she was launching the David Jones winter collection in Sydney, Gale walked for her last time on the catwalk. The model wore the Wonder Woman costume she had planned to wear to film Justice League of America film that was being developed. Gale closed Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011 show in March 2011.
